Our first trip together was to Oaxaca in March 2022.

What was supposed to be a short weekend getaway turned into a month-long adventure (and yes… a few missed flights may have been involved). Somewhere between sipping mezcal and wandering the cobblestone streets together, we fell in love - with each other, with the town, and with the idea of a future together.

After discovering the music festival called 'Mezcal Amarás', we stumbled into its signature opening event held at the ruins of Proyecto Murguia. With the colonial stone backdrop lit up by candle lights and moon light, beholden by the beauty of the moment, we looked at each other and promised that when we got married one day, we'd bring our friends back to this magical place.

Fast forward to March 2026, and we'll be heading back to Proyecto Murguia for our reception to celebrate our love story— a truly full circle moment.

Oaxaca created some of our most cherished memories together, and we can’t wait to make more memories with all of you.
